Rappa joins Salem Community College Board as alumni representative

Bella Rappa has begun a one-year appointment as the alumni representative on the Salem Community College Board of Trustees.
In May, Rappa graduated with degrees in Liberal Arts and Psychology. For the past two years, the Dean’s List student was a standout infielder on the Mighty Oaks softball team. Last season, she batted .440, while earning All-Region Second Team for the second time. She was also named to the All-American Academic Softball Team.
As SCC’s 2025-2026 Woman of the Year, Rappa represented the College at the Region 19 Women in Sports celebration at Middlesex College.
She works part-time in the SCC Admissions Office.
While a student, Rappa was actively involved in service, assisting with campus tours, campus clean-up days, and supporting the community through the Little League Challenger team and events, umpiring, and helping with youth softball programs. She is passionate about helping and inspiring young women in sports.
Rappa graduated from Pennsville Memorial High School in 2024.
