Intensive Glass Workshops
Salem Community College and the Samuel and Jean Jones Glass Education Center host a variety of multiday glass workshops throughout the months of May and June. Each summer SCC is grateful to host a lineup of outstanding artist-instructors offering opportunities for workshop participants in glassblowing, flameworking, stained glass, kiln casting, plasma, and more! Workshops are available for both the novice glassmaker and for those with years of experience.

Stay tuned for information on our 2025 workshop series! We will be hosting a number of four to five day intensive workshops in May and June 2025 instructed by a number of incredible artist-instructors including Paul Stankard & Lucio Bubacco, Joy Munshower, Dan Coyle & Danny White, Anna Boothe, Joseph Cavalieri, Percy Echols, Julia Cordi, David Graeber, Mike Hunter, and more! Keep checking back for our full lineup which will be available by October 15, 2024. Registration will open in November.
Materials for participating in the courses are included. All intensive workshops include additional studio time outside of class meetings.
Students must be 18 years of age to register for SCC's intensive glass workshops.

- Salem Community College is not responsible for non-refundable travel expenses. There is always a chance, due to unforeseen circumstances, that a class could be cancelled unexpectedly. In these instances, refunds on registration will be issued, and Salem Community College will not be responsible for non-refundable travel expenses.
- Classes are subject to a minimum enrollment policy. In the event that we do not meet our minimum enrollment for a course we will refund your purchase. Students will be notified no later than 45 days prior to their class start date if their workshop is subject to cancellation due to enrollment.
- Student cancellation/refund policy- Cancellations made more than 45 days prior to the start of the class are subject to a $150 cancellation fee. Cancellations made between 45 days and 2 weeks prior to the start of a course will receive a 50% refund for the registration fee. Cancellations within 2 weeks of the course are not eligible for a refund.
