Associate in Arts

Living in a high-stress society leads to an array of mental, social and relationship problems. If you have a passion for helping people get through their tough times, then this is the program for you! Our Psychology option explores psychology, human behavior and contemporary societal studies. Students are exposed to liberal arts studies, interpersonal skills, creativity, civic awareness and diversity of though and people. Studies include a variety of academic disciplines and modes of inquiry.

Our Psychology option prepares students for advanced studies or specialization at a 4-year institution. Students who obtain an Associate’s Degree may pursue careers such as, but not limited to, correctional officer, home care aide, social work assistant, psychiatric nursing aide and psychiatric technician.
