Salem Community College Mighty Oaks Athletics has named Brian Coulter as head coach of women's soccer.

Coulter comes to SCC with a background of coaching youth and adults in the Philadelphia area. From 2016-2019, he was an assistant coach for Rosemont College men’s soccer, and served as the team's interim head coach for five months prior to the 2019 season.

“We’re pleased to have Brian join our staff as women’s soccer head coach,” said Director of Athletics Dr. Bob Bunnell. “With his strong background as a competitor and coach, he will be an outstanding addition to our coaching staff. We all look forward to working with Brian to build a competitive women’s soccer team for the Mighty Oaks.”

Following his senior soccer season at Frankford Senior High School, Coulter was named All-Public Player of Philadelphia. He went on to play varsity soccer at Arcadia University and earned a bachelor's degree in business management in 2004.

For several years, Coulter has played on the Danubia Men's Majors Team of the United Soccer League of Pennsylvania and in the Philadelphia Deportivo Amateur Casa Soccer League.
