The Salem Community College Bookmobile swings into the holiday spirit with the Spiced Punch Quartet on Friday, Dec. 8 at 7 p.m.
Presented by History on the Hoof, Spiced Punch (Stacy Roth, David Emerson, Tom Tucker, and Marianne Tucker) will sing traditional songs and carols that were popular with the great Christmas song revivals of the 19th and early 20th centuries. Their songs are accompanied by anecdotes about the origins of the celebration of the Christmas season and the various song selections.
Sponsored by the Friends of the SCC Bookmobile Library, this family-friendly, free event will be held in Donaghay Hall, Room DON-106, on Salem Community College’s campus at 460 Hollywood Ave. Guests should park in Lot D and enter through the double doors facing the parking lot.
Funding for the program is provided by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts through Salem County Board of Freeholders and Salem County Cultural and Heritage Commission.
