Class of 1988
Starting in 1989, Elaine Dunner served in corporate marketing positions for Mannington Mills and other businesses for more than 18 years. In 2007, she joined South Jersey Healthcare – Community Services as marketing director – business development. Three years later, Elaine was named director of development at Ranch Hope, Inc. and promoted to director of quality assurance and accreditation in 2014. In the latter position, she advances Ranch Hope’s mission as the premier provider of educational, vocational, spiritual, social, mental health treatment, and residential services to youth ages 12-18 with behavioral healthcare needs.
Since 2013, Elaine has taught business and economics courses at Salem Community College. She is also licensed to teach finance, accounting and basic business operations in New Jersey.
In addition to her professional achievements, Elaine sets a wonderful example through her community volunteer activities. She is a member and past president of the Rotary Club of Woodstown, a past Rotary District Secretary, and helped establish the Woodstown Community Rotaract Club for young people. Elaine also serves on the board of Meals on Wheels of Salem County and has been a volunteer for the Salem County Humane Society and United Way of Salem County. She was honored with the Salem County Woman of Achievement award in 2014 and now serves on the board of directors for the Salem County Commission on Women.
After graduating with an associate degree in business from Salem Community College in 1988, Elaine earned a bachelor’s degree in communications and master’s degrees in business administration and healthcare administration from Wilmington College (now Wilmington University).
