Salem Community College understands the financial hardships students experienced throughout the COVID Pandemic. Especially the impact it’s had on pursuing your education. That’s why SCC is excited to share that approximately $450,000 of our Federal Higher Education Emergency Relief funds (HEERF) will be applied to cover institutional debt for students from the Spring 2020 (March ’20) through Spring 2021 Semesters (May ’21). The College will apply these funds to your current SCC account, eliminating your financial obligation to the College. These funds only apply to your current balance “debt owed” to SCC and will be automatically applied to your account.
Once your account is cleared, you’re ready to register for the Fall Semester.
If you have been away from SCC for more than a year, you will want to reapply.
All other students will need to make an appointment with an advisor.
To get you started and for more information please contact advising or schedule an appointment with Laura Green.
