Paying for Classes

I need help paying for this.  What should I do?

If you haven’t done so already, you should pick up a financial aid application and fill it out.  This means that you will be applying for FAFSA, which is the free application for federal supplementary assistance.  Upon completing all required financial aid forms, the staff will be able to tell you if you qualify for aid and how much you qualify for.   Financial aid is available for full time and part time students. - Get complete information on  financial aid

How can I find out how much my books will cost?

Two ways.  You can take your schedule to the bookstore and ask them to price your books for you.  Or you can check on Follet's Online Bookstore.  The books you need and cost will be shown.

I didn’t qualify for financial aid and can’t pay this all at once.  What can I do?

You can sign up for the payment plan and make 3 equal payments on your account throughout the semester.  The first payment is due before classes start, payment 2 is made the next month, and payment 3 the month after that. Read our payment section for complete details.

Can I get my money back if I don’t like a course or something comes up and I can’t go classes?

Students can receive a 100% refund if they drop their courses the Friday before the semester begins.  Students receive a 50% refund if they drop their courses the first week of the semester only.  After that, students must still pay for the entire course, even if they drop it, unless there are extenuating circumstances, such as a medical emergency, that is well documented.  Students on financial aid must consult with financial aid before dropping a course after the semester has started.
