ABE/GED/ESL Training
SCC provides Adult Basic Education (ABE), GED preparation and English as a Second Language (ESL) training. Services are available to all Salem County residents. For more information visit the ABE/GED/ESL Web page or call (856) 935-1100.
Drug Abuse Prevention Program
Individuals with problems arising from drug and alcohol abuse are screened by SCC advisors and counselors and are referred to the Salem County counseling service which has certified substance-abuse counselors on staff. The College complies with the provisions of the Drug Free Workplace Act of 1988.
Salem County One-Stop Career Center
The Salem County One-Stop Career Center, housed at SCC’s Salem Center, offers free job-seeking services to adults of all ages.
The Center’s staff can help:
- assess skills, aptitudes, interests and experience;
- find training to update skills or learn new ones; and
- identify New Jersey jobs in high demand.
