Programs of Study - ABE/GED/ESL Programs
ABE/GED
The Adult Basic Education (ABE) and General Education Development (GED) program is designed to help you take the state-issued GED test. Passing this test is the same as earning a high school diploma.
ABE Enhancement Program
The ABE Enhancement Program is designed for individuals who have a diploma but wish to brush up on math, writing, or reading skills. This program may be helpful for those preparing for special employment tests, civil service exams or college entrance exams.
English as a Second Language (ESL) Program
ESL is offered to those whose native language is other than English. Students learn the English language and develop reading, writing, workplace, and basic skills. American culture, social customs, and citizenship are also taught.
