Self-Service

 

How do I get to Self-Service?
SCC provides several links to Self-Service. You can log in through the SCC website or click here to go directly to Self-Service.

How do I reset my password?
You can reset your password online here. NOTE: This will reset your password for Self-Service, Student Email, Canvas and computer login on campus computers.

Can I view my grades online?
Yes, you must login to Self-Service. Along the top, there is a "Grades" tab. NOTE: Your grades must be posted by your instructor first before you can view them.

How can I get my official transcript?
While Self-Service  provides an unofficial transcript, you must go through our partner website, National Clearing House, to get your official transcript. Click here to begin.

Canvas

 

How do access Canvas?
SCC provides a link on the "Current Students" page with Canvas login instructions. Access Canvas here.

After I log in, I don't see any of my classes, what do I do?
It is possible that your instructor has NOT created your course in Canvas yet. Please try contacting your instructor, or call the HelpDesk for further assistance. (856) 351 - 2671

 

Smarthinking

 

How do I access Smarthinking?
Smarthinking is available only to enrolled SCC students and is restricted to the public. Accessing Smarthinking takes several steps. It is recommended that you view the "Accessing Smarthinking Tutorial".

My password is not working, how do I reset it?
Your password for Smarthinking is NOT the same as your Self-Service, Student Email, Canvas. Smarthinking is a third-party service that keeps your password within its database. You must reset your Smarthinking passsword with them. Click here to access their page.

 

On-Campus Internet

 

How do I connect to the Wi-Fi?
Only enrolled SCC students have access to the Wi-Fi on campus. Connect to the "SCC" Wi-Fi point. Once you have established connection, you will be required to login with your credentials.

Why do I keep losing connection to the Wi-Fi?
SCC has several "hot-spot" areas, however there may be some areas of the campus that does NOT have Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi is on a timer, if you are idle the connection may time out.
