SCC information sessions to discuss sustainable energy careers

Salem Community College will hold information sessions on its sustainable energy programs on Wednesdays, August 14 and 21, 6-8 p.m.  The free sessions will take place at the College’s Sustainable Energy Center, 179 Garrison Road, Pedricktown.

Prospective students can learn about SCC’s degree and certificate programs in sustainable energy, explore careers in the fast-growing “green” energy field and tour the College’s state-of-the-art Sustainable Energy Center.

In addition, guests will hear about the Governor’s Industry Vocations Scholarship.  The new $2,000 scholarship for women and minorities is available for a limited time to qualified students interested in any of SCC’s sustainable energy certificate programs.
