Salem Community College recently held a pinning ceremony for 19 students who completed the Associate Degree in Nursing program.
This year’s graduates are:

Coombs, Markeda Nicole Cotton, April Lynn Hines, Jennifer Ann Jeffries, Heather Renee Lemke, Nqobile Madonko, Charles Mankatah, Tracey Suzanne Marino, Jay Jordan Yumang Mercado, Michele Marie Morris, Walidah Muhammad, Dawn S. Myers, Nicole Riggins, Oluwadamilare Shoneye, Ny'Chelle Ella Mae Suggs
During the ceremony, the following students were honored:
Stephanie Marie Bovee received the Quality and Safety Education for Nurses Academic Award as the best overall student who is academically strong, clinically proficient, competent and caring.
Walidah Muhammad earned the Faculty Nursing Award by representing the spirit of the nursing department mission, with moral and ethical characteristics, self-awareness and appreciation for diversity.
Ny'Chelle Suggs, Dawn S. Myers and Jeena Rose Channell received Faculty Recognition Awards for exhibiting the spirit of the program and demonstrating the greatest attainment of self-awareness, in addition to demonstrating the most personal and professional growth.
