SCC Baseball Players Earn Postseason Honors

Billy White and Dan McAteer both earned Second Team All-GSAC honors

Carney's Point, NJ - Two Salem Community College baseball players have earned 2013 All Garden State Athletic Conference honors. Billy White and Dan McAteer both earned Second Team All-GSAC honors.

White, a sophomore pitcher for the Oaks, was selected to the Second Team All-GSAC. White recorded 24 strikeouts on his way to being one of the Oaks most productive pitchers this season. A Sustainable Energy Technology major, White attended Hodgson Vocational Tech and resides in New Castle, DE.

McAteer, a freshman for the Oaks was selected to Second All-GSAC. McAteer had a great year swinging to bat with a .380 batting average and team leading 21 RBI's. McAteer also had a .426 on base percentage and a .424 slugging percentage. A Business Administration major, Dan attended Pitman High School and lives in Pitman, NJ.
