Kathleen Polimeni has joined Salem Community College as Assistant Professor of Nursing. She has served in various positions at Cooper University Hospital since 1985, and was an adjunct faculty member at SCC and Rutgers University-Camden.
Nationally certified as a progressive care nurse, Polimeni earned the Theodore Hirsh Memorial Award for Cardiovascular Excellence in Nursing in 2001. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in nursing education from Walden University in Minneapolis, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Excelsior College in Albany, N.Y. and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Helene Fuld School of Nursing and Camden County College.
SCC has also named Evern D. Ford as Director of Off-Campus Programming. He oversees the Salem Center and the Glass Education Center. Ford brings nearly 25 years of experience in business, government and higher education sectors. He holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Goldey-Beacom College.
