Golf tournament to benefit SCC scholarship fund

The Salem Community College Foundation presents its second annual Drive for Education Golf Tournament on Thursday, October 10.

Benefitting the SCC Foundation’s scholarship fund, the best-ball tournament begins with a noon shotgun start at Town and Country Golf Links in Woodstown.  Dinner, catered by DiPaolo’s Italian Ristorante, follows in the tent.

“In these difficult economic times, students are struggling to pay for college,” said SCC President Joan M. Baillie.  “Scholarships have never been more important to relieve students’ financial burden and help them achieve their goals.”

The entry fee is $100 per person, $400 per foursome.  In addition, the following sponsorships are available:

·         Hole Sponsor (includes one foursome)--$1,000

·         Tent Co-Sponsor--$750

The Salem Community College Foundation gratefully acknowledges the generous support of the Partners of Salem County; DiPaolo’s Italian Ristorante, the dinner sponsor; and Pointe Buick GMC, the hole-in-one car and prize sponsor.
