D’Acqua and Flowers earn postseason honors for Salem Community College Softball

Two members of the Salem Community College Lady Oaks Softball Team received postseason honors.
Freshman Arianna D’Acqua (Mickleton/Kingsway H.S.) is a first-team selection to the 2010 Softball All-Region XIX and Garden State Athletic Conference teams for Division II of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). D’Acqua, the Lady Oaks’ shortstop, finished her first season at SCC with a .369 batting average, 24 hits, 22 runs batted in and 17 runs. In addition, she had 19 stolen bases and a .977 fielding average.
Sophomore Victoria Flowers (Carneys Point/ Penns Grove H.S.) is a second-team selection to the 2010 Softball All-Region XIX and Garden State Athletic Conference Teams for NJCAA Division II. Flowers, an outfielder/pitcher, completed her SCC career with a .392 batting average, 31 hits, 11 RBIs and 23 runs. Flowers also pitched 50.2 innings, finishing 2-5.
