Salem Community College Associate Professor of Education Michael Burbine received the Arlene Kelley Service to Students Award at Commencement.

His nominators recognized him as a positive and inspirational role model and for his teaching excellence. One student wrote, “Mr. Burbine has helped me realize my passion for forensic psychology."

Presented annually since 2005, the Arlene Kelley Service to Students Award honors the memory of the admissions secretary who served the College for over 21 years. Like Mrs. Kelley, the recipients demonstrate a dedication and passion to student success and go the ‘extra mile’ to address student concerns.
