    Information Technology Maintenance

The Salem Community College Information Technology department performs major maintenance three times a month. All maintenance takes places on the first three Saturdays of the month, between the hours of 9:30am – 11:30am.

The third Saturday of the month is the only maintenance period that affects the availability of student services. During this period, the following student services will be temporarily unavailable: Self-Service Portal, Online Services Portal, and Canvas.

We highly recommend avoiding using these services during this time-frame, even if they appear accessible. SCC will not be responsible for data loss if you are using these services during maintenance.

If issues arise that will cause a longer than scheduled delay in return of services, an announcement will go out alerting you of such issues. Student email will always remain accessible during SCC maintenance periods.
