Directions coming from the North/New Jersey Turnpike

• After paying at the Carneys Point toll plaza, move to the far right lane and take the next exit (Exit 1 - Route 130/Deepwater/Penns Grove).*
• At the traffic light, take a hard left and proceed over the Turnpike overpass to the next light. Continue through this light.
• You are now traveling on Route 540 East. Continue for approximately seven (7) miles.
• Just before the Memorial Hospital of Salem County, follow the Route 540 signs by turning left. Routes 540 and 45 combine here. Follow the bypass to a T-intersection. After stopping, turn left.
• Continue on Route 540 East/Route 45 North approximately one (1) mile to the next sign that reads “Route 540 Alloway” (across from the Mannington Twp. School).
• Turn right and continue on Route 540 East (Welchville Rd.) approximately three (3) miles.
• The Glass Education Center is on the left.

*If you miss Exit 1 on the N.J. Turnpike: The Turnpike merges immediately with I-295 South.

• Take the last exit (Exit 1 - Pennsville/Route 49 East) BEFORE the Delaware Memorial Bridge. This exit is to the right.
• After merging onto Route 49 East, turn left at the first light - Hook Rd. (Burger King on left)
• Just past Burger King, turn left (marked “Route 40 East to New Jersey Turnpike”).
• Stay in the far right lane and take the next exit (“Route 40 - Atlantic City”).
• Upon exiting, stay in the far right lane and turn right with a yield onto Route 540 East. Continue with Route 540 East directions listed above.

Directions from the East/Route 40

• Travel west on Route 40 until arriving in Woodstown. Routes 45 and 40 combine in the center of town at the light. (Look for signs.)
• Stay on Route 40 and continue to the next traffic light. A cemetery and a Wawa are at this corner.
• Stay straight through this light to continue on Route 45 South.
• Travel approximately six (6) miles.
• Before Mannington Twp. School, look for a sign that reads “Alloway, Route 540 East.”
• Turn left onto Route 540 East (Welchville Rd.) and travel approximately three (3) miles.
• The Glass Education Center is on the left.

Directions from Interstate 295 South/Route 540 East

• Take I-295 South to Exit 2B (Route 130/40 East).
• Continue through the light going over the N.J. Turnpike overpass.
• Proceed straight at the next light. This is Route 540 East.
• Continue on Route 540 East approximately seven (7) miles.
• Just before the Memorial Hospital of Salem County, follow the Route 540 signs to the left. Routes 540 and 45 combine here. Follow the bypass to a T-intersection. After stopping, turn left.
• Continue on Route 540 East/Route 45 North approximately one (1) mile to the next sign that reads “Route 540 Alloway” (across from the Mannington Twp. School).
• Turn right and continue on Route 540 East (Welchville Rd.) approximately three (3) miles.
• The Glass Education Center is on the left.

Directions from the Bridgeton Area

• Traveling west on Route 49, continue through Shiloh to Route 647/Telegraph Road. (Marlboro Market is located at the left.)
• Turn right onto Route 647/Telegraph Road.
• Continue on Route 647, which becomes Route 540 a few miles down the road.
• Stay straight on Route 540/Telegraph Road into the town of Alloway.
• Go through the light in Alloway and stay on Route 540.
• At the top of the little hill, bear right to stay on Route 540.
• Traveling on Route 540, cross the railroad tracks.
• The Glass Education Center is on the right, where Route 540 intersects with McKillip Road.

Directions from the Delaware Memorial Bridge

• Exit the Delaware Memorial Bridge, bearing left toward the NJ Turnpike.
• Almost immediately after entering the NJ Turnpike, exit right at “Route 40 — Atlantic City” - the last exit before the toll plaza.
• At the traffic light, merge onto Route 540 east and travel approx. seven (7) miles.
• Just before the Memorial Hospital of Salem County, follow the Route 540 signs to the left. Follow the short bypass road to a T-intersection. After stopping, turn left.
• Continue on Route 540 East/Route 45 North approximately one (1) mile to the next sign that reads “Route 540 Alloway” (across from the Mannington Twp. School).
• Turn right and continue on Route 540 East (Welchville Rd.) approximately three (3) miles.
• The Glass Education Center is on the left.

Directions from Carneys Point Campus to Samuel H. Jones Glass Education Center

• Take Hollywood Avenue to Route 551 and turn right.
• Follow Route 551 to the traffic light (Holiday Inn Express on right) and turn left onto Route 140 East
• Proceed over the N.J. Turnpike.
• Proceed straight at the next light. This is now Route 540 East.
• Continue on Route 540 East approximately seven (7) miles.
• Just before the Memorial Hospital of Salem County, follow the Route 540 signs to the left. Routes 540 and 45 combine here. Follow the bypass to a T-intersection. After stopping, turn left.
• Continue on Route 540 East/Route 45 North approximately one (1) mile to the next sign that reads “Route 540 Alloway” (across from the Mannington Twp. School).
