POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
Position Title: Instructor of Nursing
POSITION CLASSIFICATIONS: Adjunct Clinical Faculty (Non-Tenure Track)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; MSN preferred
Experience: Teaching experience preferably in a community college setting dealing with diverse student populations. Nursing experience within the past two years in a healthcare setting.
Skills/Abilities:
Ability to teach students in the medical-surgical clinical setting or designated specialty area.
Ability to develop and use innovative instructional approaches with an emphasis on critical thinking in pre- and post-conference.
Ability and willingness to work well with hospital staff and secure internal rotations for students within the facility.
