Offers the experience of blowing and manipulating borosilicate glass tubing and rod to form scientific apparatus. Students learn the properties of glass and techniques to fabricate simple apparatus. Although designed for non-glassblowers who work in the glass industry, the course may be appropriate for those interested in a career in scientific glass technology.
