Description: 
Provides students with a fundamental understanding of the sport science and management skills necessary in becoming a successful coach. Students compare and contrast a variety of objectives used to define success, then examine and redefine their individual philosophies. Topics include motivation, goal setting, organization, learning/teaching styles and team management, as well as a coach’s responsibility to incorporate life lessons while teaching sport skills.
