3 Description:
Introduces students to the operation of a pharmacy. Students select a site for approval or are assigned an approved site. Students report to the instructor on agreed dates and times. During this internship, students must sit for and successfully pass the national PTCE exam, which is offered at testing sites throughout the area. Successfully passing this exam constitutes 50 percent of the class grade. Students meet for a one-hour seminar each week and must complete at least 90 work hours at an assigned internship placement.
