Description: 
Introduces students to the concepts, tools and techniques of operations management. This course focuses on many of the ancillary skills required in a typical product or service–oriented facility. This includes organizations that manufacture products or provide services such as banks, government agencies and hospitals. The class is quantitative in nature with quality aspects discussed throughout the semester. Traditional and computer solutions to project management, forecasting, resource management and materials requirement planning are explored.
