Examines the process of using the computer as a tool to manipulate and transform raster graphics, also known as digital images. The industry
standard Adobe Photoshop is used. Topics include making selections, using layers and masks, using paint tools, scanning, and employing color-correction tools. Students collage digital images and prepare images for use on the Web. No prior photography experience is necessary.
