Description: 
Introduces the foundation-level student to the industrial design profession as well as the impact design has on our culture. The fundamental skills required for concept generation, evaluation, development and presentation are introduced through a variety of exercises. The course familiarizes students with the process of design through in-class exercises, lectures, field trips and assignments. Topics include design process, design presentation, design critique, history of industrial design and the future of industrial design.
