Description: 
Explains the social work values as an ethical foundation for decision making in the practice of social work at all its levels. The course familiarizes the student with the Code of Ethics of the National Association of Social Workers, which will be the paradigm that will regulate and structure the social work practice of the students. Each value and tenet of the Code is studied in order to understand the concepts it teaches. Case studies provide practice in critical thinking and in the application of these values. Course is limited to students admitted to the Case Management certificate program.
