Provides students with an overview of the skills needed at the local, state and national levels for an effective planning system in emergency management involving all hazards. This class offers training in the fundamentals of the emergency planning process and the rationale behind planning. The focus is on an effective all-hazard emergency planning process to save lives and protect property threatened by disaster. This class is appropriate for business, industry, firefighters, emergency managers, EMS, police and other interested parties.
