Begins with periodic relationship and chemistry bonding, and focuses on the gas laws and various properties and formations of solutions. Emphasis is placed on kinetics and equilibrium. Organic and nuclear chemistry, gas laws, titrations, organic reactions and the synthesis of organic compounds are introduced. The lab experiments reinforce the lecture portion.
