Is designed for students who need a calculus background for their major area of study, future career or as preparation for higher levels of mathematics. Topics include functions and graphs, limits, continuity, the derivative of algebraic functions, curve sketching, related rates, maxima and minima, Rolle’s Theorem, the Mean Value Theorem, integration and applications of the definite integral. A TI-83 Plus graphing calculator is required.
