Provides an overview of the site-specific technologies in use at the local nuclear facility. Because of the nature of the site design, incorporating two distinct and different types of reactors, a complete review of the plant systems for each is required. Both the boiling water reactor and pressurized water reactor are examined in detail. Conceptual differences, as well as plant operating systems, are studied, compared and discussed.
