About the Coach

Coach Craig Wolfe begins his sixth year at Salem Community College. Previously the Director of Athletics at Wilmington College and SCC, Wolfe decided that it was time for a change and is now the Director of Golf and Head Pro at the Town and Country Golf Links, while continuing as the Head Golf Coach for the Oaks. Wolfe stresses discipline, respect and effort in his program to promote success on the golf course, in the classroom and beyond. As a teaching professional, Coach Wolfe’s philosophy is based on helping his players use their individual natural athletic ability to develop an effective, repeatable swing. Coach Wolfe’s philosophy also prioritizes the importance of developing and implementing effective course management skills.
Coach Wolfe is committed to providing opportunities for golfers of all abilities while building a competitive program at Salem Community College. Anyone interested in participating should contact Coach Wolfe and/or the Athletic Office at SCC. The Oaks are very excited about the 2008 season.
Coach Wolfe earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Bridgeport (CT) and his Master of Education degree from Wilmington College (DE). Wolfe resides in Newark, DE with his wife Rosie and their son Nick.
Assistant Coach
Matt Ecret
Coach Matt Ecret begins his 1st season as Assistant Coach for the Salem Community College Golf Team. Matt is a USGTF Level III Teaching Professional and is currently the Assistant Golf Pro at Town & Country Golf Links in Woodstown NJ. Matt was a 2 time Varsity letter winner for the golf team at Salem High School in Salem NJ and was a 2 year member of the Oaks Golf Team in 2003 & 2004.
Matt earned a Bachelors Degree in Sports Management from Wilmington University in New Castle, Delaware.
