The Carneys Point Campus:  SCC’s 11-acre campus in Carneys Point, NJ, is just five minutes from Exit 1 of the New Jersey Turnpike and Exit 4 of Interstate 295. SCC enjoys the advantages of being in a small suburban community while being near Wilmington Delaware, Philadelphia and other metropolitan areas.

  • Credit Courses
  • Adult Basic Education and GED preparation (ABE/GED)

Programs of Study

SCC offers Associate in Arts, Associate in Fine Arts, Associate in Science and Associate in Applied Science degrees, as well as certificates and professional development certificates.

The College offers nationally renowned programs in scientific glass technology and glass art.

Tuition

  • $98 per credit for Salem County residents
  • $98 per credit for out-of-county residents employed in Salem County
  • $125 per credit for out-of-county residents 
  • $125 per credit for international students
     

Athletics

The SCC Oaks compete in men’s basketball, women’s basketball, men’s baseball, men's soccer, women's soccer, women’s softball, and golf.  As a NJCAA Division II school, SCC offers scholarships based on athletic ability. Each coach is responsible for the disbursement of athletic scholarship monies. A limited number of partial and full scholarships are available. All sports offer financial aid based on need.

Salem Community College is affiliated with Region XIX of the National Junior College Athletic Association.

Salem Community College is a member of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, New Jersey Council of County Colleges, American Association of Community Colleges and Association of Community College Trustees.
